Design Features:
-Industry standard Arca rail for attaching to ball heads.
-Arca rail has two mounting orientations at 90 degrees to suit different setups. Mounting screws are installed with medium thread locker and torqued for secure fitment.
-Lightening windows double as grips, lashing points, and visual access to confirm position of locking levers, etc.
-Kydex top deck with a single lip for bag support or to hold small items (phone, DOPE book, Kestrel, etc.) when tilted to sheet music stand orientation.
-Aluminum baseplate finished in matte black protective enamel.
-Kydex top deck is texturized for grip without abrading gear or scuffing optics/ chassis: attached with countersunk screws for a clean profile.
Attachment Capabilities:
-Multiple 1/4-20 tapped holes: Six around the lightening windows and four in the center for mounting ball heads, binos, GoPros, etc., or use for lashing.
-Two additional 1/4-20 hole patterns (opposite the formed lip and center) for mounting Sunwayfoto SDC-75 Arca/ Picatinny lever lock QR clamp (sold separately).
-Perimeter arcs cut to cradle your shooting bag when placed mouth down.
Notes & Care:
-Arca rail screw torque: 35 in/lbs (reapply thread locker if retorquing).
-Avoid over-tightening kydex mounting screws to prevent damage.
