Throughout our careers, we machinists and gunsmiths see many things and when an idea is decided upon we attack every option available, constantly dancing the line between failure and success. Why do we do this? It’s the pursuit of improvement and perfection. Observing and calculating becomes a way of life, perpetually seeking to learn and become more efficient while employing our skills and creativity to maximum potential.

That’s where the Ute was born; I needed a robust tac table, simple and adaptable. When I couldn’t find what I desired on the market, I made what I needed. As I shared the concept with others, interest grew. Word of mouth shot through my circles, then out of them, and Utes began to move to the corners of this country and into other lands…

As with all things, evolution is required to remain relevant. After almost a year on the market, and conversations with end users in the US and abroad, the Ute 2 was released. Adding future-proofed features like M-LOK slots and moving to a more sustainable manufacturing plan, it has become more capable than ever. Utes are currently seeing service in the US, Ukraine, the Middle East, Central America, England, and Africa, with more OCONUS locations coming.
